Michigan Technological University is one of America's top Engineering Schools, and is located in one of America's top 50 communities, Houghton, Michigan. Surrounded by pristine lakes and dense woodlands, the landscape alone is enough to make you fall in love with its modern campus. Every summer, the University hosts a summer youth program with over 70 career explorations, designed to expose potential future students to the University's high standards and atmosphere. I was approached with the challenge of creating a fresh and new logo for the program that would incorporate the University's colors and engineering focus, while still giving it the freedom to be its own entity.
