Designing
in another alphabet can be tricky. Greek is no exception. However, the board
of directors of a national youth convention
in Colorado wanted the final words of Jesus Christ, Tetelestai, to be in the
original language and proper characters.
The
message also had to be clear.
The logo needed to
emphasize that "it is finished" was not a resignation of defeat, but
rather an
exclamation of "mission accomplished". Subtly, the EKG in reverse implied
the proper message. |
