These charcoal and pencil studies are an attempt to exercise my left
hand, which does not normally get the chance to click the mouse. It is
good practice as I often prefer to spend a good percentage of my design
time sketching ideas and setting up scan-able portions of a design in
"reality" before locking myself into a computer-aided design program. I
must concede, however, that breaking away from the computer to practice
a more hands-on art gives me an appreciation for the computer's glorious
"undo" feature. |
