"River Captain Charlie" - During the summer of 2001, St. Paul, MN, honored
native Charles Schulz with 102 Charlie Brown statues that were sponsored
by various entities throughout the city.
The event was part of an effort to raise money
for permant bronze sculptures to eventually adorn the city of St. Paul.
I drew this illustration to
pitch an idea to the Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation. The idea was
accepted, & I went to work. |
